Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were advertised with a bath, but I ended up with one with just a shower. Although spacious, clean, and comfortable, I faced a wet floor issue that required drying using towels. Additionally, I was overcharged by £118 after my stay. On a positive note, the location was excellent, away from night noise but close to restaurants and sights.
I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable, although being next to a building site was a bit of a downside. The sofa bed for four people was not made up, which was a little inconvenient after walking through the room.
The hotel is ideally located on the Royal Mile, making it easy to explore the Old Town and enjoy shopping along Princes St The rooms, though not meeting high expectations, offered impressive facilities including tea and coffee amenities. However, room service is not available. The dining options can be a bit pricey for those looking for simpler breakfast choices, like a croissant or cereal. Overall, the location is excellent and convenient, providing a value for money experience with quiet surroundings despite being close to all the main attractions.
I couldn't have asked for a better location; right on the Royal Mile which made exploring so easy. The room turned out not to be ready initially, but the staff were quick to address the issue with an immediate apology and a smooth transition to another room. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the inclusion of a 2-heat induction hob was a nice surprise. The breakfast, albeit a bit expensive, didn't offer a wide variety of choices, but the service and facilities made up for it under the current circumstances.
The hotel sits perfectly on the Royal Mile, offering easy access to Edinburgh's top attractions and nearby great eateries. However, the location is truly exceptional with its proximity to the city's highlights.
My stay at this hotel was just fantastic! The rooms were tiptop, lovely, and clean, making me feel right at home. The service was top-notch with excellent amenities like dry cleaning and tours assistance. The location couldn't have been better for exploring Edinburgh.
I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The rooms were bright, spacious, and quiet. Even though my initial room wasn't ready, the staff quickly resolved the issue and found me another room with a sincere apology. The room was comfortable, had plenty of storage, sockets, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The service was top-notch too, offering dry cleaning, shops, laundry, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Edinburgh Old Town on Royal Mile, a stone's throw away from all the main attractions. The dining experience, although a bit pricey at times, was delicious with both full English and continental options. Overall, a fantastic stay!
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, making my boyfriend's birthday even more special. However, they felt a bit stuffier than expected. The location was superb, allowing us to easily explore the main attractions within walking distance. The dining options were good, although a bit minimal for the price. Overall, a great value for an extended stay experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The room, although spacious and cleverly designed, lacked some comforting amenities like branded toiletries. On the bright side, the location was superb, right in Old Town Edinburgh, with everything we needed within walking distance. The dining experience was a bit overpriced, and the breakfast options were limited.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The location was perfect, close to many attractions and very quiet. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and I had a great night's sleep thanks to the blackout curtains. The staff was lovely and the place was spotlessly clean. However, the dining experience could have been better with more variety and warmer food.
My stay at this hotel was great! The rooms were well-sized and kitted out with everything you need for a short-medium stay, providing adequate space and comfort. However, I didn't feel that the cleanliness was up to par. The location was very central and convenient to visit Edinburgh, offering modern amenities and making it perfect for everything I needed. Overall, a lovely place with some room for improvement.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel in Edinburgh. The rooms were cozy with everything we needed, although a comfy armchair would have been a nice touch. The location is perfect, very near the Royal Mile, but it can get a bit touristy, which is expected for such a central spot. The dining was okay, but a bit pricey for what it offered. Overall, a great spot for exploring the city.
The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for exploring the city, but experienced some issues with room cleanliness and noise disturbances. The amenities provided in the room were practical, but the overall stay was marred by unexpected overcharging. Although the location was excellent, the sleeping arrangements were uncomfortable and noise disturbances were a drawback.
The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, right by the train station and on the Royal Mile, making it convenient for sightseeing and catching buses. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, but there was an issue with a wet floor in one of them. The service was excellent, offering amenities like dry cleaning and tours. The dining experience was pleasant with good variety, although a bit pricey for those not eating much. Overall, a great value for money choice in the heart of Old Town Edinburgh.
The hotel had modern and clean rooms in a great location, but with minor inconveniences like difficulty accessing the refrigerator and the need for sofa bed servicing during our stay. The service was satisfactory with notable assistance offered. The location was excellent, close to the city center and attractions. The dining experience was enjoyable but slightly pricy for light eaters. Overall, a good value for the facilities provided.
